Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about our Illustrious sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. My name is Edyn Curry, and I am honored to serve as the President of the Almighty Alpha Chapter for the 2026-2027 academic year!

Being a member of this illustrious organization is one of my greatest privileges, and something I take immense pride in. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is built upon a legacy of integrity, excellence, and steadfast service. Our organization not only celebrates achievement, but it also teaches us to embrace the lessons that emerge from growth, resilience, and relentless perseverance. At the heart of our sorority lies Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service—three values that guide every action and initiative we do.

These principles cultivate a strong foundation for lifelong success by enhancing both professional and personal development. Not only do these principles empower women to become leaders in their communities, but they also help us strive to leave a permanent impact both on Butler’s campus and beyond.

The Almighty Alpha Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has a variety of unique events planned for this upcoming year. These include educational workshops focused on academic achievement, community service initiatives that give back to our neighborhoods, and social gatherings designed to cultivate strong relationships among members and the campus community. Each event is designed to uplift our members, strengthen our community,and continue the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. 

I encourage you to explore our chapter and national website to see the never-ending legacy that began on November 12, 1922, right here on this campus at the hands of our 7Illustrious Pearls. You will find a sorority filled with trailblazing, groundbreaking, accomplished, and history-making women who are dedicated to making a difference in every community they serve. 

Now that you’ve been to our site, we don’t want you to stop just there. I invite you to talk to the members you see on campus and the community! Our chapter members areheavily involved on campus and are always eager to meet new people. If you see someone out, please do not hesitate to speak and introduce yourselves!
