Membership
The purpose of Alpha Chapter is to enhance the quality of life within Indianapolis, Indiana. Public service, leadership development, and education of youth are the hallmarks of the organization’s programs and activities. Therefore, we address concerns that impact society educationally, civically, and economically. In order to be eligible for Sigma Gamma Rho membership through Alpha chapter, all interests must meet the following requirements:
Requirements
Be a full-time student at Butler University
Have at least a 2.8 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrate a substantial amount of leadership experience and/or willingness to lead
Complete at least 12 credit hours
Have a history of community service activities
Show adequate interest in the chapter as well as the organization as a whole through event support and getting to know the members
